Have questions? We have answers!

See below for some frequently asked questions!

Do we need to rent a car?

No! If you plan to drive around a lot on your own, then renting a car might be best. However, there is a direct bus to get from Denver International Airport to downtown Boulder. You can also use Uber/Lyft. We will provide transportation to the welcome party on Friday and the wedding Saturday. Parking at the hotels is limited.

What should I wear?

Welcome Party: Midsummer Party (traditional Swedish party for the summer solstice). We encourage white or light colors, floral prints, linen. Flower crowns will be provided but you can also bring your own!

Wedding:  Black Tie Preferred (this doesn't mean all black). Tuxedos or suits of any color are great. For ladies, anything below the knee and/or with slits is fine. Bright colors are encouraged! We will be on grass for the ceremony and cocktail hour so block heels are advised. â€‹

Can we bring kids?

While we absolutely love your littles, this is a kid-free wedding. If you'd like, you're more than welcome to bring your kids with you to Boulder. It's a very family friendly town! However, please arrange a babysitter to watch them during the main events on Friday & Saturday. You can reach out to Babysitters of Boulder.

Is transportation provided?

We are providing shuttles from our room blocks at the St. Julien & Moxy Boulder to and from both events. On Friday, you are welcome to drive yourself but on Saturday, shuttle transportation is the only way to and from the venue. A schedule will be posted as we get closer to the wedding.

What should I pack?

Typically, the weather in Colorado in June is great - between 75-85 degrees on most days. The evenings tend to cool down, so bring a light jacket. If you'd like to join the bride for the hike, bring tennis shoes and athletic clothes (the hike will be moderate). If you're golfing, bring your golf gear or plan to rent clubs at the course.

What happens if I miss the shuttle?

There will be two pickup times on Friday but only one on Saturday as our ceremony starts promptly at 4:00 PM. If you miss the shuttle, please plan to Uber/Lyft/to the venue. Our wedding venue is a private property and cannot handle many cars and we want to ensure a safe experience for all of our guests.

Do we get a plus 1?

While we'd love to have everyone celebrate with us - weddings are expensive and we are doing our best to stay within our budget (if you know you know). Your formal invitation will have the names of the invited guests. We appreciate your understanding.

Is there a wedding hashtag?

We are still looking for one. Send us your ideas.

What if I have dietary restrictions?

We will provide space in our RSVP section once formal invitations go out for you to list any dietary restrictions. In the meantime, feel free to also let Mark and Taylor know.

Will the real staR of the family, Dumpling, be there?

Dumpling will be in Colorado and you'll probably see him make appearances at the welcome party and Sunday brunch. We are still deciding about the wedding day... but of course he already has an amazing outfit just in case.

Can I take photos?

Of course! We ask that during the ceremony you keep your phones away and on silent! We have a phenomenal photographer and videographer that will be capturing those moments, so we simply want you to be present with us! During cocktail hour and reception, feel free to take as many pictures as you want.

Where are you registered?

The biggest gift is your presence at our wedding. If you wish to give us something more, we are accepting gifts through our honeyfund that will go towards our honeymoon and future home. Thank you!!
